Dignity at Every Age
Teens deserve to be heard, respected, and included in conversations about their care.
Hidden Brook provides structured behavioral health care for adolescents ages 13–17 experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, trauma, and other mental health challenges. When substance use is part of the picture, it can be addressed within the same coordinated plan of care.

WHO WE ARE
Adolescence can bring enormous change. Anxiety, depression, trauma, mood instability, identity concerns, family stress, or substance use can begin to affect school, relationships, confidence, and everyday life in ways that are difficult for both teens and parents to understand.
Hidden Brook was designed to provide young people with clinically structured support in an environment that still feels human. Care is individualized around the teen in front of us, while families stay informed and involved in ways that support progress.
The way adolescent care is delivered matters as much as the services themselves. These principles guide how Hidden Brook supports young people and the families who care for them.
Teens deserve to be heard, respected, and included in conversations about their care.
Treatment reflects the young person’s symptoms, strengths, family context, school life, and clinical needs.
Care is guided by qualified professionals, thoughtful assessment, and developmentally appropriate treatment planning.
Parents and caregivers receive communication, education, and support so progress can continue beyond treatment.
Care should give young people more than a diagnosis.
It should give them language, skills, confidence, and a way forward.
Hidden Brook
Mental health is the primary focus of Hidden Brook’s adolescent program. Care may address anxiety, depression, mood concerns, trauma, emotional regulation, identity-related stress, and other challenges affecting a young person’s daily life. When substance use is part of the picture, it can be addressed within the same coordinated treatment plan.
WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE HERE
Hidden Brook is designed to feel purposeful and age-appropriate — pairing clear clinical structure with different ways to engage, connect, reflect, and reset.

Spaces feel calm, age-appropriate, and welcoming — structured enough for treatment without feeling institutional.

Treatment may include clinical groups, conversation, creative work, trauma-informed approaches, and meaningful peer connection.

Structure matters, but so does room to pause, regulate, reflect, and return to the day with greater clarity.

FOR PARENTS & CAREGIVERS
Parents are often the first to notice that something has changed — and the first to carry the weight of finding help. Hidden Brook keeps families informed, supported, and involved in ways that strengthen treatment rather than overwhelm it.
Family participation may include education, clinician communication, therapeutic support, and clear next-step planning. Our goal is to help parents understand what is happening, what treatment is working on, and how to support progress at home.
